PROJECT Volver

Subsurface communications

Funded by: Gobierno de Aragon , Departamento de Ciencia, Tecnología y Universidad

Period from: 01/01/2007 to: 31/12/2008

Main researcher: José Luis Villarroel Salcedo

Researchers number: 10

Descripción del proyecto: This project studies the field of voice and data underground communications. After developping the TEDRA radio the voice underground communications is continued by adding funtionalitys to the system (work with other frequencies compatible with existing systems, noise cancellation filters, work with inductive loop as antenna,...) and migrating toward SDR (Software Defined Radio) systems. A work is also done in the radiolocation field developping a theoretical study and a experimental radiolocation method that offers a better accuracy than other existing methods.
